Tuesdays with Cherine

Did anyone read that book (or see the movie) Tuesdays with Morrie? It's a sweet story about two people who spend time together talking about life and learning from each other. If I was writing the book, it would be Tuesdays with Cherine. Cherine is a good friend of mine, and we have gotten together almost weekly for the past two years either at the zoo, the children's museum, swimming, or just hanging out.

I hope you each have a friend like her. She is the most encouraging, serene, peaceful, and talented person. Each time I meet with her I walk away feeling better about myself, my children, the world, and life. We have joked about writing up a betrothal contract for her son, Jack, and Lillian because we love each other's children and each other.

God has granted me and my children with some amazing friends, and I am thankful for their impact in my life. Today I am especially thankful for Cherine and her friendship. God bless you, sweet friend! I have no pics of Cherine to share (we are always taking pics of the kids), so I will post some of the kids from the museum.
