Almost on a daily basis I am amazed, astounded, and befuddled by the questions pressing on the mind of my oldest child. Out of nowhere, he will come up with questions like "what is the fastest fish in the ocean?", "how big can orca whales get?", "what do the rings on the Olympic flag stand for?", and my personal favorite from today: "did dinosaurs have ears?".
Holy guacamole, Batman. I used to think I was reasonably smart. I'm not an Einstein by any means, but occasionally I can finish a crossword or answer a hard trivia question. Apparently though I am no match for the mind of a 7 year old.
In May, I am up for an upgrade on my cell phone, and I'm going to get an Iphone so that I can quickly google the answers to these and many other questions. By the way, the answers to the above questions in case you are wondering are: sailfish, 19-26 feet (the largest recorded was 32 feet long), the 5 inhabited continents of the world, and yes.
